Terms of Service

Last Updated: 12 January 2026 | Effective Date: 12 January 2026

Welcome to burselle (“burselle”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) establish the legally binding conditions under which you may access, view, and utilise the burselle software interface, website, algorithmic trading models, APIs, and associated analytical services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By registering an account, accessing our site, or otherwise using any feature of burselle, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our related policies. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately discontinue all use of the Platform.

1. Eligibility and Account Onboarding

To use the Platform, you must be an individual of at least 18 years of age or possess legal majority under the applicable laws of your residential jurisdiction. By engaging with our systems, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have full legal authority and capacity to enter into this contractual agreement;
  • You are not a resident of, or physically located in, any territory subject to United Kingdom, European Union, United States, or United Nations trade sanctions or embargoes;
  • All information submitted during registration, verification, or account maintenance is genuine, accurate, and kept up to date;
  • You will maintain the security and confidentiality of your platform credentials, API secrets, and connected authentication methods at all times.

2. Nature of the Service & Non-Advisory Status

burselle operates exclusively as a technology and software development provider. The Platform delivers computational tools, automated signal generation, order routing interfaces, backtesting frameworks, and quantitative execution models. burselle is not an authorised investment manager, broker-dealer, financial intermediary, or financial advisor under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 or equivalent regulatory frameworks.

Nothing displayed within the Platform, generated by our algorithmic engines, or published in accompanying educational materials shall constitute investment advice, financial promotion, or an inducement to purchase or divest any specific financial instrument or digital asset. You maintain sole and exclusive responsibility for determining your financial strategy, risk appetite, and transaction parameters.

3. Autonomous Algorithmic Tools and Order Routing

burselle provides programmable and pre-configured algorithmic automation that interacts with third-party exchanges and liquidity providers via client-supplied API credentials. You acknowledge and accept that:

  • Algorithmic execution is subject to latency, market slippage, spread divergence, exchange downtime, and technical interruptions beyond our control;
  • Past operational performance, backtesting results, or simulated metric outputs do not guarantee future performance in live trading environments;
  • You are solely responsible for setting emergency stop thresholds, order size limits, and leverage parameters prior to initiating automated routines.

4. User Conduct and Acceptable Use

You agree to use burselle strictly for legitimate personal or internal business purposes. You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Employing the Platform for market manipulation, wash trading, front-running, layering, spoofing, or money laundering activities;
  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, decompiling machine learning weights, or attempting to derive proprietary trade algorithms from our software;
  • Introducing malicious code, automated scraping bots, distributed denial-of-service attacks, or stress vectors intended to impair platform stability;
  • Circumventing geographic restrictions, security barriers, or anti-fraud protocols using VPNs, proxies, or forged identity credentials.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including proprietary mathematical models, machine learning pipelines, user interface code, visual branding, databases, and written documentation, are the exclusive property of burselle or its respective licensors. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and utilise the interface in accordance with these Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of England and Wales, the Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied. burselle explicitly disclaims any warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability.

Under no circumstances shall burselle, its directors, officers, employees, or contractors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, capital losses, data corruption, or operational interruptions resulting from your reliance on automated routines or platform interfaces.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless burselle and its affiliates against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our algorithmic execution mechanisms, or violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising hereunder.

9. Amendments and Contact

We reserve the right to amend these Terms at our discretion. Updated revisions will be published on this page with an updated effective date. For legal inquiries regarding these Terms, you may reach our compliance department at [email protected].
